Once upon a time there was a tiger named Pouncer. This little tiger was very curious. One day Pouncer asked his mom if he could go deeper into the forest than usual.
"Yes, said his mom,"But . . ." But he was already gone. He started walking into the forest until he realized he was deeper than he thought he would go.
"Wow!"said Pouncer. Then,he also realized that he could not remember which weavy tunnel he came from. "Oh no!" he yelled. "I'm lost! Oh' now what am I supposed to do!"
Just then his stripes magically lit up! And he was swept away with a whirlwind of magic. A few minutes later he figured out he had been magically transported to a river! "It's so cool here! But where exactly is here?"
Just then a unicorn magically appeared.
"Helloooooooo." said the unicorn."My name is Icarus. What is yours?"
"Pp,p,p,p,p,pouncer." said the very scared tiger. "Wh,wh,wh,wh. . . ."
"Don't fear of me." said Icarus."I will not hurt you, I've heard that you are lost. I've come to help you."
"How are you going to help me when I don't even know which way I came from?"said Pouncer, still a little scared from the gentle unicorn.
"Listen to the stripes, listen to them. . . . ." The voice of the gentle unicorn turned into the gentle sound of an owl's flapping wings.
Pouncer was again laying down on the moist forest floor "Listen to the stripes?!"he said. "What in the world is he talking about?!" Then, his stripes started glowing again! The stripes made a shape of an arrow pointing forward. "Hey! My stripes say to go that way!" said Pouncer.
He followed it and found his mom. "Mom! I had a wonderful adventure! I saw a unicorn! I saw a unicorn!"
"Calm down, calm down." said his mom. "You can tell me all about it tomorrow."
